Selling As-Is? Leave the Repairs to Us.

What Does Selling Your House As-Is for Cash Actually Mean?

Maybe the kitchen hasn’t changed since 1987. Maybe the roof needs work. Maybe there’s a basement full of things you would really rather not spend your weekends sorting.

Can you sell the house without tackling all of that first?

Yes. Here’s how that works with Foreground Property Works.

You don’t have to fix anything first.

As-is means I consider buying the house in its current condition.

You don’t need to update the kitchen, replace the carpet, fix the sewer, or start working through that long repair list before we talk. The house doesn’t have to be staged for pictures, and you don’t need to make it look like nobody’s lived there.

Old water pipes, a leaky roof, unfinished projects—show me what’s going on. We’ll start where you are.

Take what you want. Leave the rest.

The furniture nobody wants? The boxes in the attic? The garbage you’ve been avoiding?

You can leave them. We handle the cleanout, including unwanted belongings and trash, as part of the purchase. We put it in the agreement so you know exactly what to expect.

Take the things that matter to you. You don’t have to spend money on a dumpster or try to coordinate a family cleanout.

Tell me what you know about the house.

Does the basement get wet? Is something wrong with the furnace? Has that ceiling stain been there for years?

I appreciate knowing. You don’t need to diagnose every problem or have all the answers. Just tell me what you know and what you’re unsure about.

We’ll walk through the property and look at its condition anyway. Being upfront helps us understand what needs attention so we can avoid surprises.

Sometimes, cash makes things simpler.

Maybe you’re working around a move or another deadline. Maybe the house needs repairs that could make it difficult for a buyer to get a traditional mortgage.

A cash purchase doesn’t depend on a buyer getting mortgage approval. That can remove one source of delays and uncertainty. We’ll talk about your timing and what’s realistically possible before you make a decision.

We look at the house and talk through an offer.

The property’s condition, the work it needs, and the local market all help shape the cash offer.

We’ll talk through the price, timing, costs, and any conditions. You’ll have the opportunity to review the agreement with anyone you choose and ask all the questions you need.

The whole point is to take things off your list.

It all starts with a conversation
